The individual duties of the Production Assistant/Courier are: Act as a print technician Perform all areas of the Production Process Ensure timely job completion of all print jobs Manage throughput of jobs Ensure quality of printed materials match the order specifications Assist with ordering paper and supplies as needed Ensure jobs are completed and ready for delivery of printed materials to the US Postal Service Printer maintenance Safely operate a vehicle (box truck) and navigate designated routes, following traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload packages, ensuring they are securely placed and handled with care to prevent damage.
Additional job details:
The person in this job must be physically able to lift boxes weighing approximately 50 pounds on a routine basis. This is a high volume, high attention-to-detail position. 2 years plus prior experience driving a box truck or a Commercial Driver’s License This position is a full-time hourly position with eligibility for full benefits. Pay is $25-30/hour depending on level of prior experience in this type of role or a similar one. Prior relevant experience driving as a courier may warrant higher pay.
