Buford, GA Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Provide direct supervision to Machine Operator I and Machine Operator II, ensuring their training, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring adherence to AMMEGA policies and procedures Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and address performance issues as needed Foster a positive and productive team environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
Execution:
Ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently based on customer orders and production plans. Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Quality:
Ensure production outcome is produce in conformance to customer specifications.
Safety:
Conduct safety inspections of the work area and equipment
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality Participate in the SQDIP meetings, Gemba walks, and similar initiatives.
Scope:
Manages up to 15 production employees. Executes production plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective output. Prioritizes safety and productivity improvements. Collaborates with external contractors as needed. School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Meet or exceed overall production targets for the team. Maintain or improve the overall quality rate of products produced by the team. Reduce material waste and minimize downtime due to equipment failures or quality issues. Maintain a safe working environment with zero serious accidents Minimize employee turnover within the team.
