Murphy Industrial Blvd, Bremen, GA 30110 Job Summary As a Technician within Minebea-USA’s maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day activities with other technicians working your respective shift to avoid equipment downtime issues. Essential Job Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily once they have been fully trained. Working closely with the maintenance dept. management and engineers to achieve dept. goals. Completing daily work reports. Complete preventative maintenance activities. Communicate gap items to department management and engineers for countermeasure activity as needed. Perform/follow department safety and 6S procedures. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on equipment as directed. Assist other maintenance associates where needed. Work with production depts. members on all dept. improvements and Kaizen activities. Help with new model equipment modifications and setup. Teach and program production robots. Work and communicate with all dept. supervision teams.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment. Identify, weigh, and warehouse products correctly. Troubleshoot issues that arise, make informed decisions, and implement countermeasures. Work with Process Staff to improve and document process changes. Notify the maintenance department of equipment problems. Ensure paperwork is completed and signed correctly. Input daily product usage for environmental tracking. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough understanding or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must pass the
MECTEST AU-C
level 2 test. Basic electrical experience. Experience in repairing or fabricating machine parts. Experience with welding machine, grinder, and drill press. Prior work experience with the company preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to navigate the production facility. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
