Job Description:

To actively participate in the manufacturing operations of paper cups and plates as a Team Lead for our machine operators. This position is responsible for supporting all facets of the manufacturing and distribution process; providing guidance and oversight to machine operators. The Production Supervisor will report directly to the leader of manufacturing operations with some interaction with vendors, customers and Independent Sales Representatives. .

Job Responsibilities:

  Participate in the operations of the paper cup and plate manufacturing process; providing leadership by example to team members; ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.  Provide guidance to machine operators in support of achieving daily production goals and running an efficient operation.  Ensure production environment is maintained in a L.O.C. (Lean Orderly & Clean) manner and in compliance with AIB standards.  Assist with Inventory Control including the monitoring of inventory levels and the proper receiving and shipping of products/raw materials. Provide proper paperwork to front office.  Perform preventative maintenance daily and machinery repairs as required  Collaborate with management to ensure the facility is operated in accordance with OSHA  Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services offered by Sierra International  Other miscellaneous task as required

Minimum Qualifications:

 3-5 years of proven Manufacturing Operations experience with a record of safety and efficient management.  Previous experience as a supervisor or team lead for manufacturing operations or warehouse supervisor  Experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting is required .  Background in food service or paper product manufacturing is a plus  HS diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or Technical Trade a plus Interested Person should
