Friday-Sunday Production Line Associate (Nights) Job Description The Line Associate position ensures the effective operation of the production line to meet company production, budgetary, quality, safety, and waste goals. Under the supervision of the Production Manager, you will work at a steady pace on a continually moving production line, multitasking and adapting to various work assignments. You must maintain a clean work area and follow all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines while working collaboratively in a team environment to meet production standards. Responsibilities Ensure effective operation of the production line to meet company goals. Adapt to various work assignments and maintain a clean work area. Operate processing, filling, and packaging production line equipment. Perform quality inspections of products, including visual checks of raw materials, caps, labels, date codes, weights, packaging, and seals. Monitor work activities to ensure production needs and quality standards are met. Perform inventory control transactions using SAP and complete necessary paperwork. Perform allergen cleanup and daily housekeeping duties. Assist in training employees on equipment operation and company processes. Support and develop fellow team members. Essential Skills Ability to read and write clearly and effectively. Dependability and ability to work well in a team setting. Capability to remain attentive to machinery during 12-hour shifts. Experience in production, general labor, machine operation, or machine operating. Additional Skills & Qualifications Industrial or production experience preferred. Experience in warehouse production, loading, warehouse packing, and troubleshooting is beneficial. Why Work Here? Compliance with PPE and food manufacturing safety standards is required. Weekend shifts are Friday to Sunday, working 12 hours per shift, totaling 36 hours, with compensation for 40 hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gretna, Louisiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00/hr.
