Full Job Description Description:

The Production Assistant is an integral member of the production team at their designated roastery. PAs are responsible for packaging, bagging, and labeling all coffee and tea according to established production standards. Their role also includes assisting with cold brew production processes, maintaining equipment, and completing other tasks as directed by their supervisor. It is expected that all PAs develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and offerings. Essential job functions include accurately stamping roast dates and batch numbers on coffee bags; bagging, sealing, and labeling roasted coffee and tea with precision; and assisting with order fulfillment, including packing orders, creating shipping labels, and preparing orders for shipment. PAs are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the roastery, the parking lot, the building’s perimeter, and storm drains. Additional responsibilities involve receiving and storing all incoming roastery supplies and inventory, assisting with grinding, brewing, and bottling cold brew coffee, and organizing and maintaining cold brew refrigerators using the FIFO (first in, first out) method. PAs are tasked with emptying, cleaning, and maintaining cold brew tanks and equipment on a daily basis, as well as following all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
