Shifts Available and Hours:
Multiple Shifts Available Shift Premium:
2nd and 3rd Shift – $1.00/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:
Operates various equipment (e.g., mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools).
Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety devices (e.g., guarding) are in place, and notify Supervisor or Foreperson of any safety concerns.
Perform basic set up on equipment.
Read and interpret various gauging instruments including digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
Visually inspect workpieces before and after machining for defects.
Maintain all records of job assignments accurately and in a timely manner, both on paper and in computer systems.
Conduct quality control (Q.C.) checks during operations.
Ensure all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly.
Place all waste/scrap materials in designated containers.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing experience a plus.
