Manufacturing Inventory and Production Professional Position Available In West Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Manufacturing Inventory and Production Professional GLO Resources LLC Port Allen, LA 70767 GLO Resources is hiring an experienced Manufacturing Inventory and Production Professional to work locally in Port Allen, LA . The pay range being offered is $20 – $27 per hour. This position follows a schedule on Monday – Friday with occasional weekends as needed.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Inventory and Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations and ensure the seamless flow of materials through the production process. This role requires strong experience with inventory systems, scheduling, and warehouse operations, along with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced industrial fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production and fabrication tasks, ensuring that all materials are processed and orders completed accurately and on time. Enforce adherence to checklists and production procedures provided by the Fabrication Manager. Perform inventory checks regularly and coordinate with the fabrication manager to restock as needed. Lead quality inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet company standards. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members follow through on assignments. Adjust fabricator assignments and staffing as needed based on daily scheduling challenges and shifting priorities. Hold team accountable to production schedules, attendance, and safety policies. Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel for reporting, order tracking, and communication. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure materials are handled and stored properly. Communicate daily with management to provide status updates and address any issues.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Production Team Lead, Fabrication Lead, Materials and Inventory Supervisor, Warehouse and Production Planner, or similar leadership role in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment. Hands-on experience performing inventory checks, leading quality inspections, and tracking workflow. Ability to assess daily labor needs and adjust fabricator assignments accordingly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to drive accountability. Excellent time management and communication skills. Reliable transportation and strong attendance record. Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet goals. Familiarity with fabrication or industrial production workflows. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance practices.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
