JOB SUMMARY
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a ProductionPlanning Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in streamliningour production process. In this engaging position, you’ll harness thepower of Lenco’s cutting-edge planning software to generate work ordersand job travelers, ensuring our production departments operate at peakefficiency. Your contributions won’t stop there; you’ll spend valuabletime on the manufacturing floor, distributing work orders and providinghands-on support to our production staff, addressing any inquiries ornecessary adjustments with precision and care. As a crucial link betweenvarious departments, you’ll be instrumental in the creation and ongoingrefinement of our bill of materials. Your expertise will guide ourpurchasing department in maintaining optimal inventory levels,guaranteeing that materials and products are readily available forproduction when needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Createproduction ready Work Orders in ERP software
- Work order maintenance/re-explosion and posting of work orders.
- Drive work orders thought theapproval process and out to production in a timely manner.
- MaintainWork order bills of material to ensure allocation of purchased andmanufactured items.
- Ensure special projects have all materials andproducts on order and identify any roadblocks.
- Identify and fixmissing allocation via coordination with purchasing, production andstock room.
- Work with engineering and document control to identifymissing ERP data in paperwork.
- Identify needed customer instructionsneeded for shipment with orders
- Work with purchasing department toensure materials are on schedule for start of production.
- Work in anefficient and timely manner to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Otherduties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
- Solid foundation of computer skills, file management, PDFcreation
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and similar
- Previous data experience
- Working within a production and manufacturingenvironment is a plus
- Working knowledge of supply chain and bill ofmaterials is a plus
- Working with ERP software suites is a plus
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, orrelated discipline preferred or equivalent experience

- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently whilemaintaining scheduled deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to pass physical exam

- Vision a minimum 20/40 with or without corrective lenses
