As a Team Lead at MKS, you will lead a team and assist in performing the operational functions required in a production department. In this role, you will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor. You will make an impact by: + Performing planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases. + Implementing planned production schedules, labor, and capacity requirements. + Reviewing production schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available. + Developing personnel to ensure an efficient operation of the production area.

Skills you bring:

+ Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred. + Six or more years of related experience required. + Production experience in electro-mechanical assembly, reading, writing, and arithmetic. + Ability to work off of established drawings, and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing. + Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. + Microsoft Excel experience required, and Oracle experience preferred.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

+ Perform activities such as sitting, standing, for extended periods of time. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. + Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination. + Occasionally moves/positions objects up to [50] pounds. + Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level. + Must have the ability to lift and handle optical components and equipment weighing up to [50] pounds. + Ability to remain in a stationary position for [95]% of the time. + Operates in a laboratory/manufacturing environment. + Constantly interacts with specialized equipment and machinery. + Attention to safety protocols is paramount to mitigate risks associated with assembly. + Noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate. + Occasional exposure to chemicals and fumes may occur; adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.
