Production Team Members Summary AMG Vanadium (AMG V) is seekingProduction Team Members to join our growing organization at ourCambridge Plant. AMG Vanadium’s Production Team Member isresponsible for the safety, environmental compliance, quality,production, and product delivery in AMG V’s melting and roastingoperation. Responsibilities and Duties Comply with all AMG Vpolicies and procedures, safety and environmental requirements, andAMG’s Code of Business Conduct Embrace and promote the AMG Vculture in all day-to-day activities Operate AMG V’s electric arcfurnace and/or roaster, system controls, and mobile equipment asrequired Maximize productivity and optimize equipment uptime toensure customer quality and delivery requirements are met Engage inteam problem-solving and decision-making activities Utilizeprincipals of lean manufacturing, including 6S, to supportoperational and process improvements Utilize strong interpersonaland communication skills to create a high performing teamQualifications, Skills and Requirements High school diploma or GEDrequired Experience in heavy manufacturing environment desired;steel or hot metal experience a plus Heavy machine operatorexperience, i.e.: loader, dozer, forklift, dump truck preferredTeam player Receptive and adaptable to change Knowledge of ordesire to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuousimprovement methodologies Strong interpersonal and communicationsskills a must Ability to work 12 hours swing/rotating shifts(weekends included) Ability to work in both hot and coldenvironments where the temperature can swing rapidly Ability towork in physically demanding environment; bending, stooping andlifting of 50 lbs. required Strong work ethic and good attention todetail Punctual, reliable, and have good attendance history AMGVanadium LLC offers a competitive wage and benefit package and isan Equal Opportunity Employer.
