Production Worker/Laborer Position Available In Norfolk, Massachusetts

Job Title:

Production Worker Job Description Join a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry, specializing in the production of paper products used across various sectors. Your role will involve working within a team to operate machines that coat and slit paper, transforming it into high-quality products like beer bottle labels and food packaging. Responsibilities Operate coating and slitting machines as part of a three-person team. Shadow and assist machine operators during the contract period. Utilize computer systems to control machine operations. Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to machines as needed. Assist with moving heavy materials using forklifts, with training provided if necessary. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year of recent machine operating experience, ideally 2. Mechanical inclination for troubleshooting and machine adjustments. Computer literacy for managing computerized controls. Familiarity with forklift, coating machine, slitter machine, and overhead crane operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Machine troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred but not required:

Shifts include:

D1 (Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Wed from 7am-7pm) D2 (every other Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat from 7am-7pm) N1 (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed from 7pm-7am). Enjoy paid breaks and lunches during your 12-hour shifts.
