The Production Assistant is responsible for Assisting in the Supervision of the production floor, including production operation’s, meeting production schedule and quality requirements, and training all employees. Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring all resources (personnel and equipment) to meet production schedule and quality requirements.
• Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment and safe work habits.
• Review production schedule and work with management to ensure the scheduled delivery dates are met.
• Understand customer demand and internal goals and utilize appropriate production schedules to achieve required performance.
• Help Implement standardize work instructions.
• Ensure proper training in quality standards, procedures, and methods.
• Audit rejects and finished goods to verify inspection performance.
• Drive continuous improvement activities in the department.
• Review all paperwork to ensure it is complete and thorough.
• Create a daily shift note in shared files.
• Labor tracking and completion data into the PC.
• Perform all other job duties as required. Personnel Management
• Ensure proper training of all staff.
• Maintain training records.
• Promote and ensure safe work environment including: o Use of PPE. o Lockout / Tagout procedures. o Material handling / chemical exposure. Requirements
• Proven experience as a leader
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Thorough understanding of production equipment.
• Understanding of quality standards, concepts, and improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook and Share point.

Knowledge of Quality Standards. Knowledge of
