Double-check that our products meet top-notch standards before they leave the line. The Production Assistant is responsible for Assisting in the Supervision of the production floor, including production operation’s, meeting production schedule and quality requirements, and training all employees. Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring all resources (personnel and equipment) to meet production schedule and quality requirements.
- Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment and safe work habits.
- Review production schedule and work with management to ensure the scheduled delivery dates are met.
- Understand customer demand and internal goals and utilize appropriate production schedules to achieve required performance.
- Help Implement standardize work instructions.
- Ensure proper training in quality standards, procedures, and methods.
- Audit rejects and finished goods to verify inspection performance.
- Drive continuous improvement activities in the department.
- Review all paperwork to ensure it is complete and thorough.
- Create a daily shift note in shared files.
- Labor tracking and completion data into the PC.
- Perform all other job duties as required. Personnel Management
- Ensure proper training of all staff.
- Maintain training records.
- Promote and ensure safe work environment including: o Use of PPE. o Lockout / Tagout procedures. o Material handling / chemical exposure. Requirements
- Proven experience as a leader
- Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Thorough understanding of production equipment.
- Understanding of quality standards, concepts, and improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook and Share point.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Results-driven approach.
Knowledge of Quality Standards. Knowledge of
ITAR, ISO 9001, AS
9100 and
ISO 13485.
