General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Saturdays. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for the preparation and assembly of materials used in the construction industry. We seek team players who are flexible and open to working in various positions. Your role will involve operating hand and power tools, as well as machinery, to cut and prepare steel for assembly. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and assembly of construction materials. Operate cutting and bending machines efficiently. Perform tack welding on mild steel. Lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Work in extreme heat conditions. Operate punch press, shear press, and other machinery. Handle general production tasks and material handling. Engage in roofing and assembly activities. Use hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating cutting and bending machines. Experience with tack welding mild steel. Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly. Familiarity with machine operation and hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, construction, landscaping, or farming. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform heavy labor tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.25 – $28.50/hr.
