Sign Shop Production employee The Golden Ruler/Hometown Signs & Engraving 228 Munger Ln, Hannibal, MO 63401 The Golden Ruler/Hometown Signs & Engraving is seeking an experienced sign shop employee to join our team. The sign shop employee is a professional, solution-oriented individual who pays attention to detail, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can efficiently manage many projects simultaneously. We are looking for a positive individual with a growth mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to produce or assist with the production of various types of signs, graphics, awards and apparel Installation of vinyl graphics, vehicle graphics and wraps, dimensional letters, and various other signage types Ability to run large format printers, cutters and engravers Graphic design experience with the ability to prep files for printing. Ability to prep surfaces for install of graphics. Must be comfortable with climbing ladders and operating lifts, as well as proficient in using a variety of tools necessary for the role. Conduct site surveys for new leads to gather and document all required details for fabrication, permitting, and installation Load and transport finished products to installation sites Perform quality assurance measures, pre-and post-production Monitor inventory, including tracking, ordering, and storage Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, storage spaces, and company vehicle Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs, as needed Consult with clients, including answering phones, emails, and online queries Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, support departments, suppliers, etc. Accurately track electronic and paper records related to jobs Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques for continuous self-improvement Perform other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in a sign shop/graphic design/installation setting Strong communication and organization skills Valid Driver’s License Able to work well under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for long periods Able to lift 75 or more pounds Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate Able to multi-task Good attendance record
