Primary Duty:
Overview Supports the production of molded polyurethane foam by removing finished foam pads from molds and preparing molds for the next cycle. Performs duties as part of a rotating production team to ensure consistent quality and output.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove molded foam pads from tools by hand and place them on designated conveyor belts based on product code. Clean molds by removing flash and debris by hand; clean seal areas and automatic vents as necessary. Apply hand wax to molds to facilitate proper foam release; perform manual wax touch ups as needed. Rotate through production duties as assigned. Maintains cleanliness in assigned work areas and supports overall plant housekeeping standards. Adhere to assigned schedule, including working overtime and weekends as required. Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance. While the facility is not climate controlled, we take employee comfort seriously by providing fans, water stations, and regular breaks during extreme temperatures. Team member should be comfortable working in varying seasonal temperatures.
