Job Summary:
The Production Associate III is a senior-level team member responsible for advanced equipment operation, process oversight, and quality assurance. This role includes proactive problem-solving, mentoring peers, and contributing to overall production excellence. Associates at this level demonstrate high technical proficiency and serve as informal leaders on the production floor.
Job Responsibilities:
Use production systems (Excel, coding machines, Lynq) for advanced functions, including data entry and basic troubleshooting. Fully interpret job tickets, verifying materials, fibers, and process specifications prior to execution. Operate multiple machines or manage multiple steps in the production process concurrently. Ability to independently resolve non-routine and complex issues related to assigned equipment or processes. Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance independently. Lead and mentor team members in areas such as pack-out, inspection, and quality control. Ensure proper material handling and usage across all production activities. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing solutions. Serve as a go-to resource for less experienced associates and support onboarding/training efforts. Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support operations.
Job Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in reading job tickets and interpreting work orders and material specs. Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Excel, coding machines, and Lynq systems. Competency in machine operation, troubleshooting, and minor equipment maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting as needed. Experience inspecting product quality and validating material inputs. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Demonstrated leadership, consistency, and a proactive attitude on the production floor.
