Production Team Member Position Available In Lee, Mississippi

3rd Shift 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Sunday night through Friday morning. There will also be mandatory Saturdays from time to time. 

General Description:

Primary responsibility in the Lean environment is efficient utilization of manpower, resources and machines to convert material to product. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling parts or assemblies into units by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists gathering parts, subassemblies, tool s and materials
• Positions parts and subassemblies by templates or reading measurements. “`{=html}“
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Keeps equipment operational by calling for repairs
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level: anticipating needed supplies: placing and expediting orders for supplies: verifying receipt of supplies
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Job Skills and Requirements
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions and procedure manuals.
