If It Barks is a small online retailer of custom dog collars and leashes. Our workday is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday . This is a great schedule for anyone needing set hours but more free time later in the day. The environment is fun and drama-free , and we emphasize the importance of clear communication . This is a fast-paced position and the applicant must be able to learn quickly. We work together as a team so a team-player attitude is a must!

Your Responsibilities:

Rotate stations as needed. Cut, sew, and attach hardware, according to established guidelines and procedures. Operation of our straight stitch and bar tacking machines. No previous sewing experience required! Perform minor equipment maintenance, as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Assist in the manual cutting of webbing, ribbon, etc. Perform additional production duties as requested/required by management. Ability to do light customer service work.

Competencies and Work Environment:

Previous sewing experience is a plus but not required. If you have no experience then you must be able to learn quickly. Problem-solving & analysis, multi-tasking, organization, dexterity, & high attention to detail. A background check will be performed and evaluated. Must be over 18 years old, lift 50 lbs, and climb 3 step ladder to retrieve inventory. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. This is a smoke, vape, & drug-free environment.
