Job Description
The key responsibilities of the PAD – Loomis Operator are loading yarn and ensuring proper string up through tensions and eyelets to the front of the creel machine, check that strings are correctly loaded in eyelet bars and ensure broken strands are found and restrung in a correct and timely manner.
Skills Required:
Basic math knowledge, percentages, understand ratios, work with ratios and simple measurement unit conversions (g/kg, mm/inch, etc)
Experience Required:
2-5 years experience in predominantly manufacturing environment
Education Requirements :
high school diploma or
GED Physical Requirements :
standing/walking for majority of work period, some light lifting, must be able to ascend/descend a ladder safely (will be harnessed in)
Equipment :
POSITION REQUIRES STEEL TOE SHOES
