The Position:
We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join our sewing team as a S ewing Inspector in our Hickory, NC location.
This individual will:
Retrieve sewn product from Buggies, belts etc. prior to inspection process. Inspect sewn parts for accuracy upon completion of the sewing process to include configuration of work order details. Record defects. Return defective parts to operators for corrections. Sort inspected products upon completion of the inspection process to include bundling of specified cushions with associated product. Communicate with Sewing Lead and other departmental staffing. Candidates that will be a great fit will: Have previous experience in a manufacturing and/or sewing setting. Have previous inspection experience in a manufacturing setting. Be able to perform repetitive tasks such as turning wrists, bending, lift, twist, reach and turn wrists for extended periods of time. Have a great eye for detail. Be able to stand and walk for 100% of shift. Be able to raise up to 20 pounds of weight from floor level to waist height tabletop up to 60 times per shift. Why should you apply?
