Monday – Friday | 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Some Saturdays Required)

Pay:

$18.00 per hour

1st Shift (4-6 weeks)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined 2nd Shift Tool Changer to join our manufacturing team in New Bern, NC. This role involves preparing, installing, and removing molds from presses, assisting with production, and ensuring proper housekeeping at the end of each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare molds for installation and remove molds after production completion Install and disassemble molds for storage Assist with press operation issues and troubleshooting Inspect parts for defects using custom gauges and follow packaging instructions Complete general housekeeping duties at the end of the shift (clean water, empty trash, etc.) Support the team in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic mechanical knowledge and ability Experience with factory, warehouse, and/or forklift operation preferred Familiarity with steam and hydraulic presses is a plus Ability to use standard power tools Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, and water systems Must be able to obtain forklift certification

Physical Requirements:

Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable using pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, and ladders Able to stand and move throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment
