Purpose of Job:

To support all Plant maintenance in the ordering and receiving of all parts for production and building maintenance. To seek cost effective replacement parts, establish relationships with OEMs and local vendors. Provides a period cost analysis of all expenditures and tracks all expenses to the P&L. Supports the Plant through focused efforts on sourcing and cost reduction.

Job Duties:

Orders a complexity of manufacturing parts for 38M case facility with Blow Molders, Self-Manufacturing, and High Speed Fillers. Monitors/tracks orders for accuracy and completeness. Leverages vendors for pricing, cost reductions, and supply. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred. Three to five (3-5) years of purchasing/inventory experience or experience as a maintenance professional in a hands-on role required. Two to three (2-3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment or parts/service environment required. Must be good with numbers, have good organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. SAP knowledge required. Must be a strong communicator, team player, and team builder. For Winston-Salem location, must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet PBV’s Driving Guidelines. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Frequently (45%) required to sit. Occasionally required to walk (10%), climb (10%), stand (15%), and lift (20%) up to 35 lbs. Must be able to speak and read English.
