Job Summary:
Provides high quality, comprehensive therapeutic direct and indirect care for the patient, which is supportive of the care given by the Physical/Occupational Therapy Department.
What You’ll Need:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. One-year experience with patients preferred. Two years college with classes in anatomy, exercise physiology or health and sports science preferred. CPR Certification.
What You’ll Do:
Assists with patient care treatment under the supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist to meet the goals and needs of the patient. Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines. Communicates in a professional manner with patients, physicians, and staff. Performs various administrative, inventory, and organizational duties to meet the needs of the department. Promotes professional growth and provides community education and/or committee representation. Maintains safe and clean treatment areas.
