Textile Production Associate Arthur Services, Inc. Cherryville, NC 28021 Warp Operator Cherryville, NC Monday – Friday 2:15PM – 10:45PM $16.00 Job Duties Read Log book. Pass on information from job at shift change to next operator. Set up warper per production orders. Ensure that pallets available are the correct material and Lot Number. Ensure that the end count, yardage, speed, defect and other settings are correct Ensure that the thread path is correct on the entire warper. Control the warper and make adjustments to selvages and other parameters to ensure good beam quality. Observe tint distribution and report any uneven tint to leadman for correction. Watch warper during beam production to prevent lost ends and damage to beam. Quality Testing and recording as necessary selvage and Circumference tests. Major and Minor Defects Continuously observe beams while running to prevent defects, lost ends or other issues. Doff, lease and tie beams. Wrap beam. Apply arrows and label. Load and unload beams onto warp head. Weigh and report scrap. Report Downtime and runtime Help load creel and tie in as instructed. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
