JOB SUMMARY
The goal of MSI Production Coordinator is to provide administrative support for both the manufacturing and design teams in the Mobile Systems Integration group. Understand and utilize Cross operating systems to always provide effective and efficient customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Daily review of open workorders. Create workorders based on current production demand. Daily review of incoming material for proper allocation and possible re-allocation. Coordinate with production to determine work in progress status prior to releasing orders. Coordinate with purchasing to ensure material arrives in a timely manner to meet customer needs. Review pending orders daily to maintain accurate delivery information on missing components. Work with all assembly personnel to keep orders on schedule and report out when schedules will be missed. Order shop supplies / consumables as needed to support production.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent Two years experience in purchasing (preferred), customer support or sales in a production environment (preferred).

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. Requires walking primarily on a level surface for varying periods throughout the day in the plant site area. 2. Postural activities include climbing, maneuvering, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling above, under and around machinery, equipment occasionally and includes reaching, handling, touching grasping machine parts, controls, control panels, levers, and 3. Physical effort required, continuous mental and visual attention required. 4. The performance of this position includes exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and Hearing Protection.
Primary environment:
ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
