JOB SUMMARY

The DTF Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting DTF printing equipment to produce high-quality film transfers for garment decorating. The ideal candidate will have experience with print production and an understanding of DTF printing technology. Must be detail oriented and work at an efficient pace while managing the daily and weekly work flow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(includes other duties as required): Set up and operate Direct to Film (DTF) printing machines according to job specifications. Load artwork files and ensure accurate color output, alignment, and resolution. Proficiency with computer applications, file management, and digital workflows. Perform routine machine maintenance including cleaning printheads and checking ink levels. Monitor production for quality assurance, identifying and correcting any printing defects. Handle films with care to prevent smudging or damage before transfer. Maintain records of production output and machine maintenance. Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate complex problems when needed. Collaborate with art and production teams to meet deadlines and customers’ expectations. Ensure workspace cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a sufficient inventory of all necessary supplies related to the DTF process. Assist in other areas as needed by leadership. Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proficiency with computer applications, file management, graphic software, Basic understanding of print drivers and printer network settings. Previous experience in screen printing, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is a plus. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The facility is not temperature controlled. The conditions may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

WORK HOURS

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Overtime and weekend work may be requested during busy periods.

Closed-toed shoes are required
