Position Summary:

The Lead Large Format Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Large Format department, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining productivity, and assisting the team with hands-on production tasks. This role requires independent thinking, proactive planning, and strong communication skills to keep management informed and team members aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily production schedules and manage workflow to meet deadlines. Evaluate job boards, prioritize tasks, and determine necessary next steps independently. Ensure team members stay productive, addressing obstacles promptly to maintain efficient workflow. Actively engage in production activities, assisting in the completion of jobs as needed. Maintain regular and proactive communication with management, providing progress updates multiple times daily. Collaborate with the Special Projects Manager to establish daily and weekly production plans. Identify potential issues early and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure quality standards are consistently met or exceeded in all production tasks.

Strong leadership and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. Independent decision-making and proactive problem-solving skills. Knowledge of large format printing processes and equipment operation. Proven capability to manage production timelines and team responsibilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Comfortable engaging with team members and management regularly and clearly.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a production-focused role, preferably within large format printing. Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Working Environment:

Fast-paced production environment requiring frequent multitasking and prioritization. Physical engagement in production tasks alongside administrative duties.

Job Type:

$18.00 – $25.00 per hour
