None Role Summary:
The Production Associate handles production duties in a positive, fast growth business environment with high ethical standards and team accountability. Accurately performs repetitive work assigned by Production Management to complete a task involved in producing, assembling, inspecting, or testing a product while operating lines and adhering to all factory safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Execute production duties which include loading cartoner, loading overwrap, palletizing, stapling, labeling, and rework Perform in line quality inspections of manufactured goods to ensure quality standards are achieved. Troubleshoot and perform basic improvements to achieve daily output requirements and reduce process waste. Execute daily production schedule per productivity targets. Properly document and label products completed in your workstation Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Report any damage or unusual conditions of the product to your supervisor for corrective actions. Follow and assist in development of production Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Operate in accordance with EarthKind’s safety and workplace organization procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience 2-4 years of experience in general production line or manufacturing. Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices Working knowledge of general safety procedures. Education Highschool Diploma or GED. Interpersonal Skills This role requires strong communication skills to ensure clear understanding and coordination with team members and supervisors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a customer-focused approach, actively listening and responding to production needs to uphold quality standards. Effective teamwork and collaboration are essential, as the role involves working closely with others to meet production goals efficiently. Other Skills Basic math and reasoning skills. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Proficiency in using basic equipment, such as a pallet jack. Physical Requirements Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions and numbering. Hearing with normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Sitting for extended periods is common but the ability to stand for extended periods of time is required. Good manual dexterity is required for the use of staplers May operate pallet jack Talk, hear, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse manufacturing environment.
