Production Worker Alexander’s Ham Company 5920 Highway 152 W, Mooresville, NC 28115 Job Summary Applicant will be responsible for preparing, slicing, cutting, and packaging various types of country ham and sidemeat products in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to food safety standards. Duties
- Perform cutting and trimming according to specifications
- Load automatic slicer with meats
- Package and label meat products for display and storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of meat products
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling customer requests Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, meat cutting, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food production, handling, safety, and sanitation practices is a plus
- Familiarity with working in a restaurant or food industry setting is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift at least 55 pounds
