Job Description
Operate shear machines and forklifts to cut, form, and shape metal parts per blueprints and specifications. Perform basic machine setups with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate shear and other fabrication machines (Brake Press, Turret, Fin Press, etc.). Read blueprints and follow work orders. Follow all safety procedures (PPE, JSA, 5S). Inspect parts for quality and report defects. Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office to track production. Maintain a clean and safe workspace. Perform routine machine maintenance. Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
Requirements:
Forklift and crane operation experience. Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
