Monday-Thursday Hours:
5:00PM-3:30AM Position Overview We are seeking a versatile and dependable Production Floater to support various departments within our metal fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding or general metal production, with the flexibility and aptitude to learn and perform a variety of tasks across multiple workstations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a broad skill set in metalworking or a strong willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and assist in multiple production areas including: o Welding (MIG/TIG) o Laser Cutting o Press Brake Operation o Powder Coating
- Follow work orders and production schedules to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment according to company safety and quality standards.
- Support team members across departments to meet production goals and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of tools and machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and support team flexibility. Qualifications
- Prior experience in general metal fabrication required.
- Experience in laser cutting, press brake operation, or powder coating is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to move between departments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
