Full Job Description Overview:

Production Operator performs tasks that are necessary to the production process. They aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions to meet safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment
• Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
• Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Replace raw materials needed to run production line
• Make equipment adjustments as needed to maintain production flow and achieve quality targets.
• Conduct required startup/shut down inspections
• Alert Supervision to equipment/quality issues that may impact customer service
• Follow all company policies as related Production/Safety/HR
• Cross train in all production tasks in accordance with the cross training metrics as established by FTBC.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum 1year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and differentiate part numbers, labels, work and safety instructions
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing techniques.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to lift, push, pull and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
• Able to work in space that lacks climate control
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
