Job Description

Job Title:

Production Associate Responsibilities Set up and operate various machines, including rewind machines, bunchers dynamex, samp wire draw machines, and plating lines, as directed by the Cell Lead. Effectively monitor production equipment to ensure smooth operation. Read and understand bills of materials and blueprints or drawings. Communicate with the Cell Lead regarding any discrepancies on drawings or BOM. Inspect pieces and parts to ensure they conform to specifications and industry standards. Operate air and power tools as needed. Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gages, gage pins, and tape measures. Maintain productivity levels that match or exceed production standards. Follow safety rules and use safe procedures. Keep tools and supplies organized and maintain a clean work area. Work closely with the Quality Control Department. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to continuously stand, move, and reach with arms and hands. Frequently walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Work Environment Our plant accommodates 40 employees and requires the use of personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The work setting is collaborative, with team members working in close coordination with one another. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairmont, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 – $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
