Production Associate/16Hr Manufacturing Concepts Raleigh, NC 27650

Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations:
  • Operate machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the production process.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to carry out production tasks.
  • Assemble, inspect, and package products according to established guidelines.
  • Monitor production machines, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions to the supervisor.
Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular quality checks during the production process to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Identify defects or deviations from specifications and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including product counts and quality data.

Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, promoting a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work effectively as part of a team to accomplish production goals and targets.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to optimize production processes.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Meeting Production Targets:
  • Meet production quotas and targets set by the production manager or supervisor.
  • Be proactive in resolving any potential bottlenecks that may impact production output.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications in manufacturing or related fields are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work 3rd shift hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
