Technician (Semiconductor Fab) (2nd shift)

NHanced Semiconductors, Inc Morrisville, NC Job Opening:

Operation Technician (Semiconductor Fab)- 2nd shift (3:30 pm to 11:30 pm-paid 30 min lunch) Responsibilities Set up and operate wafer manufacturing equipment Make recommendations to engineering on ways to improve process control and yield Maintain accurate documentation of wafer/lot processing Perform shift and weekly qualifications on wafer equipment Light maintenance work Maintain a safe work environment (may include housekeeping, labeling, and proper disposal of waste)

Qualifications Required:

Background in Chemistry or experience working with chemicals

Preferred:

AAS Degree in an Engineering Technology field or equivalent education or equivalent prior experience in semiconductor industry Knowledge of semiconductor processing

Preferred:

2+ years’ experience in a semiconductor R D or 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing fab Personal Skills Team-oriented individual; able to work collaboratively in a team environment and in individual roles Clear, concise verbal and written skills Able to understand and communicate effectively with Management, Engineering, Vendors, Customers Strong customer service skills Positive, can-do attitude Reliability in attendance and work quality a must Flexible; willing to learn and grow in a startup environment Commitment to quality output Able to expand roles/responsibilities Technical Skills Experienced Semiconductor Fab Operations/Manufacturing Technician Able to operate multiple metrology tools Comfortable working with chemicals Able to process wafers in a flexible development environment Quick learner with better than average fab processing skills Good understanding of Statistical Process Control principles and application Able to use Microsoft Office Physical Requirements/Restrictions Must be able to: Stand for long periods of time Lift lot boxes, 2-35 lbs. Walk long distances Wear cleanroom attire, including protective eye gear Other Requirements Must be able to work flexible hours based on company needs
