Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to control the generation of the labeling process and perform various tasks to ensure all labels and packaging components are compliant with all regulations and available in time for production.

Job Responsibilities:

Adheres to Viant’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management System (QMS), US Food and Drug administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Ensure labels are up-to date, accurate and procured in a timely manner Print labels for production as required by production schedules Conducts first and last piece inspection of job labels Follows the procedures and requirements per

SOP 15-2

(control and use of labels) Prepare Documentation Packets that accompany Labels and Travelers for Production Inspect completed label jobs performed by other associates. Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on label printers. Put away label stock as it is replenished from Inventory. Provides support for Final Pack, Shipping and Receiving as needed. Provide support within the organization as experience is needed. Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
Knowledge/Education:

High School Diploma or GED Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Experience:

Minimum 2-year experience in an office environment and/or in-process inspection exposure in a manufacturing environment

Skills/Competencies:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well independently and with fellow team members with those inside and outside the department, handle multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly Attention to detail and organization skills Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Ability to follow appropriate department policies, procedures and practices Positive teamwork attitude Strong problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail skills

Physical Requirements:

Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination Minimal periods of bending, lifting, and standing Significant use of hands Occasional required to lift up to 25 lbs Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including: Protective gowning (Safety Shoes, gown, Hairnet, gloves, protective eye wear)
