Specific duties include:

1) unde || rstanding all aspects of Creare fabrication workflow and management a || pproaches; 2) helping configure, refine, and maintain our electronic || production management system; 3) identifying opportunities and implem || enting changes to streamline processes; 4) providing input to corpora || te management regarding need for additional resources; 5) managing fa || brication efforts for specific projects; 6) recommending most appropr || iate fabrication methods for specified requirements and production qu || antities; 7) assessing make versus buy decisions; 8) estimating cost || and schedule for fabrication activities; and 9) optimizing fabricatio || n schedules while considering technical risk and overall timeline. || || Professional Requirements || || || || || || || || || || || || || || || || Engineering degree (from ABET accredited i || nstitution) is required. Working knowledge of manufacturing, fabricat || ion/machining techniques, mechanical assembly, and blue-print reading || /inspection are required job skills.
