POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Operator is primarily responsible for the following: Completing various operations within the departments of Assembly, 3D Printing, Med Pack and NEXX Assembly as designated, to meet production requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Identify correct bag size, and/or use information provided on the work order/work instructions to make bag selection. Cut/trim bags to size based on specifications noted on the work order. Create part labels using basic computer applications. Properly tag part bags with labels, according to customer requirements. Clean parts by using the correct cleaning solution according to customer requirements. Follow proper gowning procedures before entering the clean room, including proper disposal after use. Complete all aspects of 3D Printing changeovers, including, taking the print off, applying adhesive, and reprinting. Complete all aspects of tape jobs, including properly identifying the correct orientation on the blueprint and cutting in a straight line. Complete all aspects of mixing epoxy including, using scale, and referencing correct spec sheets. Complete assembly jobs per specific work order instructions.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Correctly and safely operate heat sealers, butane torch, media blaster, arbor presses, and ovens (MCF3) Identification of quality problems in materials. Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift. Good housekeeping, safe work ethics, and conducting self in a professional manner. Proper handling of all materials, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product. Represent the company, as required, during customer, internal and ISO audits, as well as FDA inspections. Understand the sensitivity of the data handled by systems under your control and take appropriate measures to protect it.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION:

High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.

EXPERIENCE

: No experience necessary, equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted OR demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position. Internships and PT experience acceptable.
