Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom Job Functions:
Production Assistant, in communication with House Production Manager, will welcome tours upon arrival to the venue, assign dressing rooms, and is the key point of contact for all hospitality needs Work with House Production Manager, Tour Manager, & Catering Teams to help facilitate hospitality advances Communicate with and support Production Manager with applicable backstage program budget; Tour Manager/Artist needs; manage receipts accordingly The Production Assistant will maintain back of house hospitality expectations & backstage area. Clean and organize backstage area preparing for tours arrival; cleaning after departure, i.e., sweep, mop, new table cloths etc. Set up each dressing room in accordance with tour rider Set up catering (breakfast / lunch / dinner /after-show) Laundry
- wash, dry and fold, i.
e., hand and bath towels. Responsible for checking dressing rooms periodically throughout the day to tidy up Partner with local backstage catering to ensure the Artists rider requirements are met and the culinary experience exceeds the Artist’s and touring personnel’s expectations Pre and post-show walk-through with checklist to prepare back stage area, i.e., Artist & Touring crew space; notate any damage to be repaired Manage post-show food, as required by Tour Manager; Communication with House Production Manager accordingly. Manage pick-up of rider/bus stock/ hospitality needs at local supermarket (at times will get a list to shop) Perform opening/running/closing side duties, i.e., shopping, cleaning, backstage inventory, etc.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times; meeting facilitation skills are a plus
- Essential to maintain composure around high profile artists/guests and work in an often-hectic and loud environment
- Possess a positive outlook, strong communication skills and the ability to engage others
- Must have a knowledge of the region to properly identify local restaurants, stores, area attractions, etc.
- Must have an exceptional driving record, with the ability to drive a 12-passenger van and transport passengers, supplies, etc.
- Must be able to commit to 50 shows or more during the season
- Exceptional knowledge of food, beverage, safety, and sanitation standards
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience finding creative solutions in conjunction with the House Production Manager
- Position requires constant physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying equipment; must be able to lift 30 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- 1 year+ of backstage/production/hospitality experience
- 2-3 years+ of work experience in a comparable role
- 1-2 years+ of leadership experience

Compensation:
Hourly rate depending on experience.

The Backstage Coordinator will maintain back of house hospitality expectations & backstage division-wide goals. The Backstage Experience Coordinator will meet & greet the tours upon arrival to the venue and be available to assign dressing rooms and is the point of contact for all hospitality needs. Laundry

The Backstage Experience Coordinator will check dressing rooms periodically through the day to tidy up and collect any towels to be washed. Partner with local backstage catering to ensure the Artists rider requirements are met and the culinary experience exceeds the artist’s and touring personnel’s expectations. Work with Production Managers & Catering Teams to help facilitate advances. Pre and post show walk through with checklist to make ready all backstage Artist & Touring crew areas and notate any damage to be repairs . Oversee all dressing room and bus stock, including after-show meal coordination. In coordination with the General and Production Managers, co-manage any applicable backstage program budget and process vendor invoices. Partner with the venue’s Production Manager, Artist Services team to create memorable, hospitality-minded moments at every show, including but not limited to birthdays and special celebrations.

Must possess strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience finding creative solutions. 1 years’ plus of backstage/production/hospitality experience. 2-3 years’ plus of work experience in a comparable role. 1-2 years’ plus of leadership experience. Has a natural interest in helping others and a heart for service. Position requires constant physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques. Degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business, or something comparable preferred.
