Pastry Assistant Thierry Atlan Moonachie, NJ Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid parental leave Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Pastry Associate/Assistant We are looking for a Pastry Associate/Assistant to support our Executive Chef and production team in the daily preparation of macarons, chocolates, and ice creams . This is a full-time position based in Moonachie, New Jersey , with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM .
Responsibilities:
Assemble (stick) macarons. Pack and seal the daily macaron production. Assist with ganache and jam production. Help pipe ganache and jam for macarons. Assist in mixing macaron flour using TPT techniques . Support the production of chocolates and ice creams. Assist with fulfilling and shipping daily orders.
Requirements:
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Capability to stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. multiple times per day . Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
