We hope you will join us as we create the next year of traditions for Kohler’s Bakery. Role & Description As a Bakery Fryer, you are a key member of donut experience at Kohler’s!

Primarily roles and responsibilities include:

Assist with operation of fryer and frying of morning donut production Assist with back prep for bakery production Assist with cleaning procedures for fryer maintenance and bakery cleaning Assist bakery owner with daily prep tasks for production Maintaining a team mindset and experience Multitasking and adaptability during high volume times

Hours:

Fri-Mon / 4:30am to 11a

Compensation:

$18/hour + weekly cash tip distribution Monthly Bonus Potential based on attendance, bakery productivity, and personal work performance.

Work requires transportation to get to work on for start of shift in sun, wind, rain or inclement weather Schedule and Wage information Schedule shifts vary depending on years of experience Tenured employees have seniority on day off requests All employees must be available for holiday weekends (Memorial Day Weekend training, Father’s Day Weekend, Fourth of July weekend, Labor Day Weekend and last open weekend of season) and fulfill other schedule requirements throughout our 10 week season Bi-Weekly checks will be issued for wages Uniform/Health Inspection All employees are required to wear sneakers, socks, black shorts of appropriate length, hair pulled back if long in bun or braid or secured with a hat No jewelry is to be worn on wrists, hands, or around the neck for safety reasons. No nail polish is allowed to be worn during working hours No phone use during work hours unless during break time. Phones will be kept in the locker area, no phone on your person. Sanitation & Personal Items Hands should be washed upon arrival to work and at all other necessary times during work hours No aprons should be worn into the bathroom No item shall be in contact with a trash can or other unsanitary surface All baking devices shall be designated for baking only or cleaning only during use All surfaces shall be cleaned to prevent cross contamination of allergen ingredients and sanitation. All personal items are to be kept in designated cubby at start of shift Cell phones should never be in aprons and use is restricted to break time in the back No pictures or video are to be taken without the consent of the owner during work hours. Bakery Policies & Guidelines Employees should be prepared to start work at the beginning of their shift. Arrive early to have hands washed, apron put on and start ready. Consistent lateness will result in the loss of monthly bonus and could result in termination of your position No recipes or baking procedures shall be shared outside of the Kohler’s Bakery business premises. The schedule will be released bi-weekly. If you need to be absent, you are responsible to find coverage for your shift and let your supervisor know about the change. Holiday weekends are mandatory – no exceptions. No employee shall be ill, intoxicated, or under the influence of any drugs during employment hours. Smoking or vaping is not permitted during working hours. Food and drink products will not be distributed or consumed without payment to Kohler’s Bakery.

10% off There is no eating or drinking in the store. This is reserved for the break room area during designated times away from other employees unmasked. No friends or family are permitted behind the counter, in the back of the bakery or to hang out in the bakery without permission of your supervisor. Each employee is a representative of the bakery and should act in a responsible and respectful way at all times. No cursing or negative communication in front of customers should be conducted. There are always items in the bakery to assist with. Please do not hesitate to ask how you can help if unsure and need a job to do. Safety procedures should be followed daily with the expectation of being attentive at all times.
