The Production Operatorhas the primary responsibility of contributing to all phases of the team-oriented production process. Included is the operation of automated production and packaging equipment, determining equipment failures and making minor adjustments or contacting appropriate personnel for assistance, and aiding in operator preventative maintenance and hygiene of all related equipment. This position is expected to become fully versed in the entire production and packaging process.

Responsibilities:

Operation of high-speed continuous donut/bread/pastry production line
Setting up, operating, and monitoring the line equipment
Liaise with appropriate staff throughout the shift to ensure continuous process and quality standards
Keeping a working stock of raw materials required online at all times
Operate and monitor machinery that palletizes finished products as required
Data entry of inventory data into the warehouse management system as required
Operate forklift and manual lifting as required
Maintain the required hygiene, safety, and quality standards on the production floor
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

A high school diploma / G.E.D is required
Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment is preferred
Previous line experience in the food industry is preferred
Clear criminal background check (or has received a pardon)
Must have strong mechanical aptitude
Likes to assume a variety of responsibilities in team team-based production environment
Excellent communication skills
Proven communication skills both Written and Verbal (English)
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment
Schedule subject to change under management discretion
