Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Project Specialist to manage the end-to-end production of a designated book product line on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will ensure that books are produced on schedule, meet quality and durability standards, and are delivered without defects. You’ll serve as the key coordinator between production staff, quality control, and finishing teams to keep workflows on track and resolve any issues that arise during the production process. • The shift for this position is M-F 9:30a-6p • Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of a specific book production line, from printing and binding to finishing and packing. Ensure that each run meets quality specifications (e.g., trim size, binding style, print clarity, paper type) and is completed on time. Monitor production schedules and address delays, machine issues, material shortages, or labor constraints. Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow in the manufacturing facility. Conduct in-process checks and coordinate with quality control to prevent and correct defects. Track and report production metrics including output, waste, rework, and downtime. Support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality or delivery issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation related to production runs, issues, and outcomes. Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met throughout the production process. Requirements Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand and power tools effectively. Strong communication skills, native English is a must Familiarity with assembly line processes and factory operations is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
