Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Associate to become a part of our Chris’ Coffee team! We are a local family owned and operated coffee roaster & distributor that’s been in business since 1975. We are proud to say that we roast almost 1 million lbs. of coffee per year and are looking for the right candidate to help support our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse and manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Roast and grind coffee on our commercial roasting and grinding equipment. Printing labels for all coffee bags. Label and pack coffee both whole bean and ground of various sizes. Flavoring of coffee. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move products and materials safely. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. General warehouse maintenance – cleaning, organizing, inventory checks, etc. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse environment.

Qualifications:

Required daily to stand, walk & use your hands. Must be able to frequently lift or move 75 lbs. unassisted as well as up to 200 lbs. with assistance. Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is required. Ability to work effectively on an assembly line, ensuring quality control throughout the process. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks performed. Preferred, but not necessary, to be forklift and pallet jack certified; we can provide on-site training/certification. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and take directives from upper management.

Salary & Benefits:

Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm & overtime available. Health insurance, dental insurance & 401K. Sick time & PTO after 1 year of employment. Free coffee available everyday & discounted pricing on all other stocked products. Uniforms provided. Salary is negotiable based upon background and/or experience.
