Full-Time Job Summary:

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production, manufacturing, and/or packaging operations of cannabis-derived products including flower, oil, pre-rolls, and other derivatives. This role ensures daily production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements. The Production Lead supports and supervises production staff, troubleshoots bottlenecks, maintains quality standards, and helps drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the manufacturing, processing and packaging of cannabis flower, oils, concentrates, infused products or any other cannabis derivatives. Supervise production team members on the floor and ensure compliance with daily tasks, production targets, and timelines. Ensure accuracy in weighing, filling, labeling, and sealing of products. Train team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards. Maintain inventory of production supplies and coordinate restocking with the inventory team. Monitor machine operation and assist with equipment troubleshooting or maintenance reporting. Uphold sanitation, cleanliness, and organization of the processing, production and packaging areas. Conduct quality control checks and ensure batch records and labeling meet state regulations. Collaborate and support the operation of any team or department to ensure workflow alignment Report any non-conformances, delays, or safety hazards to management. Assist with onboarding and mentoring new production employees.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus. , manufacturing, or process control areas. Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Good written and verbal communication. Ability to work in a physically active role (standing, lifting up to 25 lbs). Familiarity with state cannabis packaging regulations (preferred but not required). Basic computer skills (data entry, report generation).

Working Conditions:

Indoor production/packaging and outdoor cultivation environment. May require wearing PPE (gloves, hairnets, lab coats). Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
