Production Control Specialist The Hughes-Treitler Business Unit designs and manufactures state of the art plate-fin heat exchangers, cold plates, condensers, evaporators, and other heat transfer products. We provide custom design and engineering services, to high quality manufacturing standards, for the aircraft, engine and industrial heat exchangers in the mobile/marine/avionics/space and missile markets. Ametek Hughes-Treitler is seeking a Production Control Specialist to organize top level planning to coordinate customer, material, and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
This position will create and maintain a production plan based on forecast, inventory levels, safety stock levels, and customer service levels while minimizing cost.
- Performs diversified duties involving the coordination, issuance and control of materials for the Business Segment Material Control Department.
- Analyzes Oracle reports/output recommendations and releases production orders to manufacturing and assembly areas.
- Release/Print work orders for the shop based on Oracles Make Action Report.
- Expedites purchased material components shortages with the appropriate supplier, as needed.
- Expedites OSP items with the appropriate supplier.
- Participates in daily scheduled factory order status meetings to achieve 100% on time performance.
- Participates as a team member on task forces to reduce costs, inventory levels and improve on-time delivery of products to customers.
- Place Purchase Orders with vendors & enter in Oracle.
- Review and analyze Requisitions.
- Review and analyze Planner Analysis for assigned Production Jobs.
- Review and expedite Buy Action Reports and assigned vendors.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication, analysis, and math skills a plus.
- Data analysis skills using Excel or equivalent is required
- Accurate data entry skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot problems
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in technical discipline
- 0-3 years experience working in a Production Control / Planning, Purchasing or Materials group in a manufacturing environment(equivalent experience will be considered)
- Experience with ERP business systems desirable.
- Excel, Power Point and Word experience required
- Familiarity with Oracle business system
Other:

Pay Details:
- $26.
