General Production Worker Position Available In Wayne, New York

Job Title:

General Production Worker Job Description As a Non-FAA Production Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. Your responsibilities will include soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, and more. You will follow established methods and procedures to ensure tasks are completed according to manufacturing schedules with limited supervision. Responsibilities Hand solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs. Assemble electromechanical components as needed. Review and complete necessary production documentation. Read and comprehend moderately complex assembly instructions. Understand written and verbal assignments. Essential Skills Proficiency in soldering techniques. Experience in general production and assembly. Ability to work with hand tools. Knowledge of blueprint reading and electronic assembly. Familiarity with cleanroom and surface-mount technology. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in SMT and electronic assembly. High School Diploma or GED. Why Work Here? Choose from two shifts:

the first shift operates Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm, while the second shift runs Monday-Thursday from 2:30pm-1:00am. The facility boasts seven SMT lines, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
