SKILLED POTTERY & CERAMICISTS FOR ARTISINAL POTTERY WORKSHOP LOCATION

Bedford, NY

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Full-Time (Part-Time Considered). Compensation based on experience and job role. Are you a skilled and dedicated ceramicist looking to be part of a thriving, artisanal pottery studio? We are an established ceramics tableware company with over ten years of experience, and we are expanding into a new standalone workshop in Bedford, NY. All of our work is hand-thrown and finished in a small workshop environment, and we are seeking dedicated professionals to help us maintain our production levels and high-quality products that we sell online and in our brick-and-mortar location in Bedford Village.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Studio Trimmer & Production Coordinator – Responsible for clay preparation, wedging, trimming, and assisting in production workflows. Kiln & Glaze Technician – Overseeing kiln loading, firing, glaze mixing, and application to ensure high-quality finishes. Studio & Fulfillment Coordinator – Managing studio organization, packing, shipping, and online order fulfillment.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Highly detail-oriented and organized individuals who can manage production tasks efficiently. Experienced potters or ceramicists with expertise in any of the above roles. Strong communicators who can take instruction well and work collaboratively within a small team. Individuals who are physically capable of handling the demands of a ceramic studio (lifting, wedging, trimming, kiln loading, etc.). Creative and dedicated artisans who appreciate the craftsmanship of hand-thrown pottery and are eager to contribute their hard work and joy to create a great longterm team.
