We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineering Support team member. This position plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations at our NPI facility, with responsibilities including material handling, machine operation support, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate material and tooling transfers between the main production facility and the NPI facility to ensure timely support of development and production schedules. Assist Engineering Technicians by operating or cycling machines as required to support testing, development, or troubleshooting activities. Conduct inventory counts and perform reconciliations , ensuring material accuracy and availability for ongoing projects. Support the logistics and organization of tooling, parts, and equipment within the NPI facility. Perform general shop support duties , including maintaining clean and organized workspaces and assisting with shipping/receiving of prototype parts. Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and inventory teams to support project timelines and goals. Take on other duties as assigned to support the overall function and efficiency of the NPI facility.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework is a plus 1+ year experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or logistics support role preferred Basic understanding of mechanical or production equipment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment (forklift certification a plus) Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory or ERP systems is preferred Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced engineering and production environment May involve standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift Occasional exposure to noise, dust, or machine operation areas (appropriate PPE provided)
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
